Asteria Voice Guide

Use Asteria Voice to speak with the AI Assistant, hear answers, explore everyday marketing tasks, and continue the conversation hands-free.

Asteria Voice gives you a hands-free way to use the Asteria Engine AI Assistant. Speak naturally, hear Asteria respond, and continue the conversation without turning every idea or question into a typed message.

What you can do with Asteria Voice

Use Asteria Voice to make everyday marketing work faster. For example, you can:

  • ask how recent content or campaigns are performing
  • check what is planned, scheduled, or waiting for approval
  • brainstorm campaign ideas, content themes, hooks, captions, and calls to action
  • draft or refine social posts and campaign briefs
  • explore advertising ideas and creative directions
  • ask about engagement, leads, and other information available in your workspace
  • continue with follow-up questions without repeating the full brief

The answers and actions available to you depend on your Asteria Engine plan, workspace permissions, connected accounts, and enabled features. Asteria may ask you to clarify a request or confirm a target before continuing. Some tasks may also require approval or completion in the relevant workspace screen.

How a voice conversation works

  1. Open AI Assistant in your Asteria Engine workspace.
  2. Select Voice conversation.
  3. Allow microphone access when your browser asks.
  4. Speak naturally. The listening visual reacts to your microphone input.
  5. Asteria understands the request and considers the relevant information available in your workspace.
  6. Asteria speaks the answer and shows short, synchronised captions.
  7. Continue speaking for a follow-up, interrupt the response using the microphone control, mute the microphone, or end the conversation.

Listening, thinking, and speaking states

  • Listening shows that microphone input is active and reacts to the energy of your voice.
  • Thinking indicates that Asteria is interpreting the request, reviewing relevant context, or preparing the response.
  • Speaking plays the generated answer and drives the visual spectrum from the response audio.

These states make it easy to see whether Asteria is listening, preparing an answer, or speaking.

Your workspace rules still apply

Asteria Voice is another way to use the AI Assistant in your active workspace. It works with the brand information, connected accounts, conversation history, and permissions available to you.

Using your voice does not remove the controls already in place:

  • asking a question is not treated as permission to change or publish something
  • Asteria may ask which post, campaign, account, or date you mean
  • workspace roles and approval requirements continue to apply
  • only features and connected accounts available to your workspace can be used
  • you can mute the microphone, stop Asteria speaking, or end the conversation at any time

Built for choice and continuity

Asteria Engine supports a flexible approach to AI services, helping organisations avoid depending on a single provider for the entire voice experience. The options available to you can vary by workspace settings, region, and service availability.

Example voice requests

Try requests such as:

  • "How are this month's campaigns performing?"
  • "Give me three LinkedIn angles for our new service."
  • "What is scheduled for next week?"
  • "Summarise the strongest engagement signals from our recent posts."
  • "Draft a founder-led post about the product launch."
  • "Make the latest approved caption more concise."
  • "Explain why that campaign is underperforming."
  • "Prepare an ad concept for our summer offer."
  • "What needs my approval today?"

For the best result, name the campaign, post, account, platform, or date when your request could refer to more than one item. Asteria may ask a follow-up question before continuing.

Accessibility and controls

Asteria Voice includes visible conversation states, short captions for spoken answers, microphone controls, a stop-speaking control, keyboard support on desktop, and reduced-motion support. You can end the voice session at any time and return to the standard typed AI Assistant.

Troubleshooting

Asteria cannot hear me

Confirm that microphone permission is enabled for the Asteria Engine app, the correct input device is selected in your browser or operating system, and the microphone is not muted in the voice controls.

Asteria stops before I finish

Check that the interface still shows Listening, reduce persistent background noise, and try speaking again. If the problem continues, end the voice conversation and start a new one.

I can see an answer but cannot hear it

Check your device volume, browser audio permissions, and the speaker control. If you still cannot hear the answer, end the voice conversation and check the written response in the standard AI Assistant.

Asteria asks me to clarify

Clarification is expected when a request could affect more than one post, campaign, account, or workspace item. Name the target, platform, date, campaign, or intended action explicitly.
